MW ARDEN’S MITCH EVANS FASTEST IN FREE PRACTICE FOR MONACO.
It was Mitch Evans who was quickest as GP3 took to the famous streets of Monaco for the first time in the Series’ history. The drivers were eager to get to grips with the tricky track for their maiden visit to the Principality. The session ran in dry conditions after rain earlier in the afternoon had threatened to spoil the drivers’ first attempts around the challenging street circuit.
Mitch qualified 4th with a frustrating yellow flag affected qualifying session.
Finished race 1 P5, made a good getaway but was on the outside for turn 1 and I lost a position, nothing I could have done. Got held up massively for the whole race, passing is almost impossible, had really good pace, just a real shame we couldn't really show it. Start p4 again Sunday.

New Zealander Mitch Evans raced to his third win of his GP3 career at the Valencia Street Circuit in Race 1. After starting from pole, Evans also claimed the fastest lap making it a perfect start to his weekend in Spain.

A frustrating qualifying session for New Zealand’s Mitch Evans, meant the 17-year-old started fourth in the Monaco GP3 feature race on Saturday and finished in fifth place in the 26 car field.
